Welcome to Freeing Imperfections!
I started this blog in 2012 right after I graduated college with a degree in English Writing. One of my senior projects that year was to keep a blog about a specific topic. I chose healthy living and was hooked ever since.
I originally started this blog to write about overcoming perfectionism. While I do write about that topic from time to time, my blog has since evolved along with my lifestyle. Right as I started this blog, I got interested in running and experimenting in the kitchen. I also realized I have a huge love for sharing tips about blogging.
I blog to express myself, share what’s going on in my life, and inspire and help others be their best self, despite the imperfections. Here’s some common topics seen here.
FITNESS & RUNNING
I started running consistently in the summer of 2012 when I signed up for my first race, the Boston Half Marathon. I didn’t come from a running background, but soon got hooked.
I completed my first marathon in May 2014, something I never thought I’d say I would do!
