Today was one of those mornings where I could not get my coffee fast enough. Thank goodness I was smart and prepped it the night before. Coffee at the flip of a switch is glorious. Just sayin’.
I had some cinnamon raisin toast and pear Chobani with granola to accompany my very black coffee.
I sadly ran out of almond milk days ago and have been too lazy to go to the store until my regular shopping day
I mentioned a couple days ago that my in-laws are coming to visit this week, and I couldn’t be more excited! I adore them, and their visiting means we get to go downtown & explore my favorite city even more. What’s not to love?
Before their arrival, which isn’t even until Thursday, I am, of course, cleaning the house like the President is coming over for dinner. It’s not so much that I want my home to look perfect for my in-laws, but that they’re staying with us and we only have a one bedroom apartment. The more cleaning I do now, the easier it will be when two people are living in my living room.
And plus, people coming over is always a good excuse to clean up my act. But I got thinking, and seriously, why do I not clean like this all the time?
Oh, yeah. Because I have a life.
But goodness, I love getting rid of clutter! I went through one of my closets yesterday to make room for some extra junk, and I even made up a whole box of stuff to donate just by doing so.
Yay for getting rid of more junk!
Seriously, it frees my soul, people. If I could clean all day, I would.
Totally random thing that I am getting rid of: this sweet license plate cover from my half marathon…
Sorry, Yukan Run. I’m not going to put that on my car…
Now I’ve gotta take care of this poor little guy.
He got sick as soon as he got up and has been a cranky pants ever since Hoping it’s just nothing!
Also, I updated the blog’s menus today and added a new Mary Kay page. Check it out!
